Highly Available Dictation means No Busy Signals!
No downtime, and no busy signals…ever! With BayScribe, you choose how you want to dictate into the system and we ensure that your providers will never be unable to dictate a note. BayScribe’s simple and modular design allows your facility to easily expand capacity at any time. Our Never Down Architecture eliminates the limitations inherent in physical port-based systems, and BayScribe’s scalability is virtually limitless as the audio is streamed into the system over the internet using VoIP.
With our recommended and tested configurations, clients can receive virtually limitless telephony-based dictations without issue and still have limitless users accessing the system. What does that mean? It means you don’t need to worry about how many ‘ports’ you have… not today, not ever!
Traditional ‘port-based’ systems like MedQuist DEP, eScription, Dolbey, Dictaphone, DVI, Lanier, Crescendo, Spheris, Vianeta, WinScribe, etc. require customers to purchase more equipment than they need to ensure the system has capacity for peak volumes and usage, primarily because accessing the system to listen to dictation or dictating via microphone and telephone all require ports to be available.
Not with BayScribe.
BayScribe supports numerous handheld voice recorders and wireless devices on your network. Once dictations are completed, the user simply docks their handheld device and the audio is queued with the synchronous HL7/XML file containing the ADT/Patient information on the system for typing.
BayScribe provides centralized control with all day-to-day system management done within your browser, so you can manage dictation from any PC. Consolidate and centralize all of your dictation throughout the organization with BayScribe while maintaining access and control. Dictations can be grouped and re-routed, re-prioritized and/or have work types changed, all from within your browser.
You can Store, Forward, View and Transcribe multimedia files as easily as standard voice dictations… all from your browser.
